The Gerald Legacy, Part 1: Politics and Old Men

This is my first Sims 3 Legacy. Here's out founder, Libby Gerald. She's ambitious, handy, hot-headed, neat and a workaholic. She's also freakin' adorable. Looks sort of like a pixie. Her lifetime wish is Jack of All Trades, which is where you get to level 5 in four different career tracks, because one job would be boring.

The first thing I do is get her job, and she rolls a want (wish, I'm just so used to 'rolling a want') for a job in Politics. She goes downtown to get one.

After getting hired, she finds a protest outisde and decides to join in, probably because she's really, really anti-...Yeti? Or Pro-Yeti? Hmm.

Meanwhile, while Libby has slowly been moving up the political ladder, she often goes out and makes friends, not only to build her charisma to get promoted, but in search for a husband. She's found no one she really likes, just some really good friends, until one day at the beach, she starts talking to someone she thought she wouldn't even barely be attracted to.

His name is Iqbal Alvi and despite their age differences, she an young adult, he an adult with two teenager sons, they quickly find each other falling in love.

Libby is excited to have found someone and wants to get married as quickly as possible, but night is falling and she has to work tomorrow. So she bids her new lover goodnight and leaves.

Libby's getting promotions very quickly. Her workaholic, ambitious attitude is perfect for politics.
Does that driver look like Vita Alto to anyone but me? Or Nancy Landgraab. Hm.

Whenever things break down in her "house", Libby fixes them with ease and swagger. She's handy after all. By randomly tinkering with this shower she has not, in fact, managed to get herself killed and instead, accidentally upgraded it; now it's self-cleaning. Libby WIN.

When Libby goes to invite Iqbal over to get married, it turns out he's aged- literally overnight. Oh hmm. However, Libby loves hims so much, she doesn't seem to care- or notice, for that matter, and promptly proposes to him. Gleefully, almost like a woman, Iqbal accepts and Libby asks if would like to stay the night.

The next day, after work, at sunset, they get married. It's sweet and Libby is a blushing red-headed bride for her overweight bald-headed groom. He brings 8,000 simoleons and his two teenager sons, VJ and Miraj, who both, for the time being, take the name 'Gerald'.

Until next time, where we welcome the 2nd generation and not much else happens.
Oh, quick. Iqbal Alvi: angler, neurotic, couch potato, I dunno what else. His lifetime goal is the Perfect Aquarium, so it's not gonna happen. And he's in the business career.

Crazy Man and Fat Man, Part 1, aka Lindley/Larson

I created Jared Lindley, simply for the purposes of playing with him and traits and whatnot. He's insane, a great kisser, klepto, good sense of humor with commitment issues. Ladies, he's single.

He looks crazy, all the time. The 'talk to self' option is amusing and it brings up his social. Fortunately, he doesn't ever really need to bring up his social because he's always hitting on someone. His lifetime goal is to be the boyfriend of 10 different sims. Sounds like fun.
Number 1- Agnes Crumplebottom, who is unflirty and rich but somehow, Jared makes this work and soon enough he's in her bed.
He works fast. Also he stole some of her lights and things. Haha, Kleptos.
Jared begins to fret over commitment. Agnes does not take this as a compliment. There is also the part where Jared has been seen flirting with Tori Kimura, so Jared breaks up with her and moves onto his next victim.
Cycl0ne Sw0rd or whatever.

Then they break up in public and Cyclone is all sad and Jared is all, whatever.
So it turns out that Agnes got pregnant from their one night together (no not really I clicked 'try for baby on purpose) and so a few days later, Jared gets all excited because now he's got a son. Rene Crumplebottom. Which I quickly change to Rene Lindley.
I was talking to my brother and mentioned how I was going to try to get a wife to leave her husband for Jared and I said, which one: the mother of six, the rich woman, or the evil rich woman? MOTHER OF SIX he yelled, but later protested when he saw she was fat (no fat chicks, he says) but I don't care. It proving difficult, however. They're good friends now and I'll keep trying, anyway.
Jared and his son are pretty cute together. I don't think Agnes minds him just popping up out of nowhere and carrying his son around her large house.
Oh! Here's Russ Larson, a sim I created simply because I have no fat sims and wanted to play with traits. He's an angler, natural cook, hopeless romantic, good, and something else. I can never remember 5th traits. Arghh. Anyway. Oh! He's Childish. He's awesome, too. I moved him in with Jared and they are like opposites, they've never even met. Well, the house I moved them into is huuge. Anyway. Russ loves fishing. So mostly he goes off fishing while Jared goes off hunting for prospectives girlfriends and future mothers of his kids. These two are fun to play.
That's all for now.

The Porters, Part 1

This was, I think, the first Sim I made on The Sims 3. His name is Ferguson Porter.
He's neurotic, over-emotional, charismatic, friendly, and something else. Hmm. What the hell is he? I can't remember.
I love the new Create and Style thing, I spend hours designing outfits for Ferguson.
I think he pulls it off. Ferguson is a journalist. His lifetime goal is to be a Star News Anchor. He's willing to get his hands dirty to do so.
I freaking love this action. Ferguson, not so much. Eww. Garbage. Honestly, I love the Neurotic trait. 'Check sink', 'check stove', 'wash hands three time'. He's hilarious. I love him.
Ferguson starts romanticising a girl from work, Fiona McIrish. More often the not, he rarely sees her, he's always trying to work or cleaning his not-much-of-a-house, so by the time I get around to getting them married, Fiona's gone and aged up to an elder. Elder women do not have babies. So Ferguson's got to find a new wife.;
One day, Ferguson goes out on the town and comes upon this protest going on. Having nothing else to do, Ferguson joins in. I really want to know what this protest is about. They seem to be against clowns of some sort.

Ferguson sees this lady from across the street and is instantly attracted to her. Or, well, I think, ooh she's pretty. So I send him over to her and she's Jamie Jolina, doctor-in-training and blond genius. Ferguson wastes no time.
Within the night, he's got a kiss and a romantic interest.
Soon thereafter, Ferguson grows from a young adult to an adult. Nothing changes.
Then he proposes, she accepts, blah blah blah. Ferguson is so fun to dress. He's adorable.
This has been the first part of the Porter stories, I'm just catching up on pics. Next up, Ferguson gets married, has kids. Oh, whoops, spoiler alert. Sorry.

basically

This blog is for posting my Sims stories. Right now I've got two families:
The Porters
